The antimonopoly committee (AMKU) obliged the state enterprise "Ukrzaliznytsya" to provide the documents confirming validity of increase of tariffs for transportation of grain crops within 20 days.
New quotations came into force on May 1 - after the approval of the new collection of tariffs for services of railroad workers in transportation.
The acting head of committee Alexander Melnichenko agreed: as last time the collection was revised in 1999, tariffs needed to be raised. "But "Ukrzaliznytsya" increased quotations by 5,4-7,4 times while for these years price level grew by a promproduktion only by 4,9 times", - the official noted.
The antimonopoly committee was engaged in tariffs for grain transportation from giving of landowners who claim that increase of cost of transportations will make their production noncompetitive in the world markets. "Costs of logistics this year increased to 39% of production cost. In EU countries - on the contrary. If last year it was the share of logistics of grain to 14% of its cost, this year this indicator decreased to 9%", - the president of the Ukrainian agrarian confederation Leonid Kozachenko tells.
Producers give calculations. "The logistics "Ukrzaliznytsey" across Ukraine costs to us on the average $20 for ton. Transportation of 1 ton grain on distance of 10 kilometers from Nikolaev to Ochakov costs $5. Delivery of the same freight from Ochakovo to Egypt - $6. As a result, considering a payment for storage and grain transfer, on logistics of 1 ton $45-55, thus, that wheat cost in the market of $130-160 for ton leave. If it was succeeded to reduce logistics cost, it would be possible to increase purchase prices of grain at landowners by 30-50 UAH", - the director general of the Nibulon company Alexey Vadatursky claims.
The deputy minister of transport and communication Vladimir Badagov, in turn, doesn't consider tariffs of "Ukrzaliznytsi" high ". Tariffs were approved in the necessary ministries, below tariffs, than at the Ukrainian state enterprise, isn't present in one country. So, if on distance of 500 km in Russia it is necessary to pay $12,7 for transportation of 1 ton of grain, in Belarus - $10,5, at us are $10", - Badagov noted.
The Ministry of Economics supports delegation of power according to tariffs from Mintranssvyaz of the special commission. It is supposed that such measure will allow to avoid discussions concerning level of quotations. The offer also support in Minagropolitiki.
