About 50 people take part in picket at representation of the president of Ukraine in the Crimea, demanding to lift a ban on entrance to Ukraine Mayor of Moscow Yury Luzhkov.
"We demand to remove immediately a ban on entrance to Ukraine to the Mayor of Moscow and to cancel the decision on the announcement it the persona non grata. In the civilized states of the statement of politicians on settlement of controversial questions don't conduct to a ban on entrance to the country", - it is spoken in the address of participants of picket to the president of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko.
"We support a position of the Mayor of Moscow which he stated in Sevastopol. We have all bases to demand reunion of Sevastopol and the Crimea with Russia. There is no legally significant document which would extend the sovereignty of Ukraine to Sevastopol and the Crimea. Yury Mikhaylovich (Luzhkov) offered a civilized, legal solution of this problem - through the International Court of Justice", - declared, acting before gathered, the organizer of picket, the leader of social movement "Popular front" Sevastopol - the Crimea - Russia" Valery Podyachy.
Participants of picket hold flags of Russia, Yury Luzhkov's portraits with inscriptions "Luzhkov - our hero", "Luzhkov told the truth", "Inhabitants of the Crimea for Luzhkov", "Slava to Luzhkov", banners with the slogans "There Is No Annexation of the Crimea", "Constitution of Ukraine Guarantees to Inhabitants of the Crimea Slavery". Gathered chant "Ukraine, from the Crimea", "Slava to Yury Luzhkov", "Sevastopol - the Crimea - Russia".
"In the Crimea hundreds thousands people love and respect Yury Mikhaylovich. It made for the Crimea and Sevastopol it is so much, any Ukrainian politician how many didn't make. And if Ukraine - the democratic state if it respects the citizens, it lifts a ban on entrance of the person who always was the welcome guest on the Crimean earth", - told, answering questions of the journalists, one of organizers of an action, the leader of the Crimean human rights organization "Vera" Svyatoslav Kompaniyets.
In the address to the president participants of picket reminded that, following the results of a referendum on January 20, 1991, more than 90% of inhabitants of the Crimea and Sevastopol supported a reconstruction Crimean the Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic.
"Results of a referendum still aren't realized. The autonomy should be recreated in that status in which it was at the time of abolition - that is as a part of RSFSR", - it is spoken in the address.
Participants of picket urged heads of Russia to denounce the treaty of friendship cooperation and partnership with Ukraine and to make a territorial complaint for the Crimea and Sevastopol.
We will remind that the Mayor of Moscow Yury Luzhkov declared again that Sevastopol was never transferred to Ukraine at the time of the USSR.
