Putin: Ukraine doesn't conform to standards of NATO

The prime minister - the minister of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin declared that Russia considers the Ukrainian enterprises voyenno - an industrial complex incapable to let out production according to NATO standards.

He noted that any country joining with NATO has to let out military production according to standards of this organization.

"The enterprises Ukrainian military industrial complex, regardless of our relations, won't be able to work according to these standards", - he told.

He noted that Russia in case of the entry of Ukraine into NATO will be able to continue production cooperation with Ukraine, however high-tech productions and rocket technologies will move only to the territory.

Putin also told that the Russian military industrial complex already now let out production according to NATO standards.

Speaking about prospects of the entry of Ukraine in NATO, Tymoshenko confirmed that this issue will be resolved by results of an All-Ukrainian referendum.

Putin called such way only the correct decision, he noted that the people have to solve safety issues of the country.

We will remind that the NATO Secretary General Jaap de Hoop Scheffer is confident in successful development voyenno - an industrial complex of Ukraine after the accession to NATO.

In April the Cabinet approved development strategy voyenno - an industrial complex.
