The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine recommends to parents to address in law enforcement agencies if at schools from them extort money.
As the correspondent of the UNIAN reports, it was declared by the Minister of Education and Science Ivan VAKARCHUK yesterday on a press - conferences in Kiev.
"The Ministry of Education and Science isn't gendarmerie, but we send the corresponding letters are our duty, and we do it. But when this (extortion) passes any limit, then it is necessary to address, for example, in prosecutor's office and to report that extort money", - told I.VAKARChUK.
I.VAKARChUK considers immoral the requirement of directors of schools about need of financial assistance from parents. "No compulsory contributions should be", - he emphasized.
The minister considers that schools need to settle at legislative level possibility of financial assistance from parents and sponsors. "In my opinion, it can be only voluntary contributions", - he added.
According to I.VAKARChUKA, permission to schools can become one of mechanisms of attraction of voluntary contributions to open own settlement accounts. At this I.VAKARChUK experience of schools of the Lvov area which last year suffered as a result of a flood referred on positive.
"Opening of accounts will shift this problem, but it is necessary that also the legislation promoted it", - he is convinced.
As reported the UNIAN, during a trip to Lviv on August 20 the prime minister - the minister of Ukraine Yulia TYMOSHENKO declared that it for streamlining of providing paid services at schools when the list of paid services of means from which teachers will be able independently to dispose will be accurately defined. "It is good when each school will have the settlement account, the press and will independently dispose of means which arrive from additional services", - the prime minister told.
