In Jankoi already hospitalized 126 children from eight kindergartens

As of 14.00 Fridays 126 children aged from 1,9 till 7 years from eight kindergartens of the city of Jankoi (Crimea) - No. 1, 5, 6, 7, 9, 14, 16, 38 are hospitalized.

About this UNIAN reported in a press - service of Ministry of Health.

The easy course of a disease at 97 children, moderate severity - at 28 children, 1 child is in resuscitation unit, its state is stable.

The preliminary diagnosis - гастроэнтероколит.

Investigation of the reasons of poisoning proceeds. Samplings on bacteriological research of objects of environment are made: foodstuff (daily tests - 6 tests, 4 tests - crude egg, meat, crude production, a liver, a hip chicken) is besides taken washouts from working surfaces - 110 tests, and also for control research water drinking - 1 test.

Preliminary results will be received on Saturday, September 5.

As reported the UNIAN, the first child was hospitalized in a hospital of Dzhankoysky infectious children's hospital at 8.00 on the third of September with symptoms: temperature, diarrhea, vomiting. From 10.00 till 13.00 9 more children with similar symptoms arrived.

After that measures for elimination of outbreak of enteric infection were taken.

Survey of the personnel of children's institutions and surveys of the children who were absent on September 3 in children's collectives is begun, 6 sick children are revealed at home.

To a scene there arrived the Minister of Health Vasily KNYAZEVICH, the Minister of Health ARE the Crimea Sergey DONICH, the commission of Ministry of Health of Ukraine on investigation of the reasons of incident.

Besides, in connection with incident the President Victor YUSHCHENKO charged to the public prosecutor Alexander MEDVEDKO to organize urgently investigation for clarification of the reasons which led to an emergency situation, and to take the appropriate measures of reaction.
