JSC Nortima (Ukraine) got a controlling stake of JSC Odessa Port Plant of 99,567% of an authorized capital for 5 billion UAH

As the correspondent of the UNIAN reports, at the moment the management of FGIU plans to sign the contract of purchase and sale with the winner.

The price of sale exceeded initial on 1 billion UAH. The step of auction made 50 million UAH

Three participants took part in the auction - JSC Azot-service (Russia), JSC Frunze-Flora (Ukraine) and JSC Nortima (Ukraine).

UNIAN reference. Odessa port plant (. Youzhny, the Odessa Region) - the second-large producer of ammonia and a carbamide and the third - on production of nitric fertilizers in Ukraine. Specializes on an overload of the chemical production arriving from CIS countries for export. The plant is the monopolist in the nation-wide market of specialized services in reception, cooling and an ammonia overload.

The state property fund on July 15 of this year announced competition on sale of 99,567% of the state equity stake of OPZ. The initial price of a package makes 4 billion UAH

On September 17 the President of Ukraine Victor YUSHCHENKO the decree suspended provisions of the resolution of the Cabinet of Ukraine No. 1517-р of December 3, 2008 by which carrying out privatization of JSC Odessa Port Plant is provided. In turn, the prime minister - the minister of Ukraine Yulia TYMOSHENKO declared that privatization of OPZ will take place in established periods - on September 29, 2009, despite the Decree of the President.

Before the auction, at meeting of a contest committee in FGIU today also there were disagreements into the account of legitimacy of carrying out competition, but auction nevertheless was carried out.
