98% of the persons holding senior positions at the previous power and falling under the law on lustration aren't involved in government any more.
It was declared by the director of the department of questions of lustration of Ministry of Justice Tatyana Kozachenko on a press - conferences on Wednesday in Kiev, reports «Interfax - Ukraine».
Besides, according to her, to 934 persons access to the state positions till 2024 is closed.
«I want to note that bodies of fiscal service, tax authorities» remain leaders in resistance to clarification,–she has told.
According to Kozachenko, in these bodies the greatest number of positions which are subject to lustration therefore also indicators on lustration in bodies of GFS also the highest–258 persons who held the highest state positions in tax and customs authorities. At the same time 42 highest officials of GFS still remain on the posts.
«I separately want to note that bodies of GFS actually leveled a part of the law on lustration regarding property check. Now by such criterion of a lyustrirovana of only 111 people, and they aren't connected with those loud surnames and corruption scandals which were» in Ukraine,–has told Kozachenko.
Besides, she has specified that lustration hasn't concerned bodies of judicial authority.
«Actually today within a year under the law on clarification of the power there was lyustrirovano only one person from judicial authority–ex-the head of the Supreme economic court Victor Tatkov» ,–she has told.
At the same time she has specified that other institutes of clarification of judicial authority continue to work though, perhaps, not so effectively as society would like.
Kozachenko has also paid attention that the Constitutional court can't already make more than 1,5 years the decision on constitutionality of provisions of the law on lustration.
Let's remind, in Ukraine lyustrirovat 938 people, among which there are 40 representatives of a judicial branch of the power.
