Rada raised соцстандарты in the first reading

The Verkhovna Rada intends to establish a minimum wage of 869 hryvnias since January 1, 2010, 884 hryvnias - since April 1, 2010, 888 hryvnias - since July 1, 2010, 907 hryvnias - since October 1, 2010 and 922 hryvnias - since December 1, 2010.

For acceptance in the first reading the relevant bill 4762 (on replacement) which author is the deputy Oleg Zarubinsky from fraction of the Block of Litvin, 259 deputies voted at necessary 226.

This bill also assumes increase in a living wage to 825 hryvnias since January 1, 2010, to 839 hryvnias - since April 1, to 843 hryvnias - since July 1, 861 hryvnias - since October 1 to 875 hryvnias - since December 1, 2010.

For children under 6 years the living wage increases to 755 hryvnias since January 1, 2010, to 767 hryvnias - since April 1, to 771 hryvnias - since July 1, 787 hryvnias - since October 1 to 799 hryvnias - since December 1, 2010.

For children aged from 6 till 18 years - to 901 hryvnias since January 1, 2010, to 917 hryvnias - since April 1, to 921 hryvnias - since July 1, to 941 hryvnias - since October 1 to 957 hryvnias - since December 1, 2010.

For able-bodied persons - to 869 hryvnias since January 1, 2010, to 884 hryvnias - since April 1, to 888 hryvnias - since July 1, to 907 hryvnias - since October 1 to 922 hryvnias - since December 1, 2010.

For disabled persons - to 695 hryvnias since January 1, 2010, to 706 hryvnias - since April 1, to 709 hryvnias - since July 1, to 723 hryvnias - since October 1 to 734 hryvnias - since December 1, 2010.

Now the minimum wage makes 669 hryvnias a month, a living wage - 626 hryvnias a month.

As it was reported, earlier on Wednesday the Verkhovna Rada cancelled vote by a raising of hands for 5 bills of increase of social standards.
