In the Nikolaev area of the Central Election Commission I formed 6 constituencies

The Central Election Commission formed 225 territorial constituencies in areas, the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, the cities of Kiev and Sevastopol for elections of the President of Ukraine on January 17, 2010.

Such decision is made today at Central Election Commission meeting.

"the Central Election Commission in September already defined number of territorial districts for elections in each region of Ukraine, in the Crimea, Kiev and Sevastopol. All these recommendations were transferred to regional authorities and taking into account their offers and territorial districts" are formed, - the vice-chairman of the Central Election Commission Andrey Magera told.

In particular, in ARC 10 territorial constituencies, in Vinnytsia region - 8, in Volynsk - 5, in Dnepropetrovsk - 17, in Donetsk - 22, in Zhitomir - 6, in Zakarpatye - 6, in Zaporozhye - 9, in Ivano - Frankovskoy - 7, in Kiev - 9, in Kirovograd - 5, in Lugansk - 12, in Lvov - 12, in Nikolaev - 6, in Odessa - 11, in Poltava - 8, in Rivnenskaya - 5, in Sumy - 6, in Ternopol - 5, in Kharkov - 14, in Kherson - 6, in Hmelnitskaya - 7, in Cherkassk - 7, in Chernovitsky - 4, in Chernigov - 6, in Kiev - 10, in Sevastopol - 2 are formed.

15 members of the Central Election Commission took part in meeting.

We will remind, according to the national legislation on October 19 (in 90 days prior to the voting day) electoral process began.

Promotion of presidential candidates of Ukraine begins since October 20 (in 89 days prior to the voting day) and comes to an end on November 6 (in 71 days prior to the election day). Political parties, electoral blocs of political parties, and also citizens of Ukraine by self-promotion have the right for promotion of presidential candidates.

The Central Election Commission makes the decision on registration of the presidential candidate of Ukraine or on refusal in registration for five days from the date of adoption of documents from the applicant in candidates for president.

Carrying out pre-election campaign pro or contra the presidential candidate begins next day after registration of the candidate of the Central Election Commission and comes to an end at 24 o'clock the last Friday before the election day (that is in the night of January 16, 2010).

Vote will happen on January 17, 2010 from 8.00 till 20.00.
