The Verkhovna Rada adopted the law "About Establishment of a Living Wage and Minimum Wage in 2010" in the second reading.
For 264 deputies voted. In particular 172 deputies of PR, 33 - NUNS, 27 communists,
19 litvinovets, 3 extra fractional.
BYuT didn't vote.
As the deputy minister of finance declared the state has no funds for increase of a living wage and minimum wage as deputies demand.
"No bill which you submitted, demanded neither 20, nor 50 billions. The first your bill demanded in addition 500 billions, and this in the current year - 8 billions. And in the following, against the draft budget, 71 billion", - were declared by the deputy minister.
"I want you to assure that noninflationary sources of financing of these expenses aren't present! ", - he emphasized.
"As to make loans in such sums there is no opportunity, it is possible to provide such expenses only at the expense of teachers, doctors, cultural workers; to close schools, clubs, kindergartens in villages. In total it is necessary to reduce 1,6 million positions in the budgetary sphere", - the deputy minister added.
The law offers to establish a living wage as like as two peas counting on a month in a size of 1 November of 2009 - 701 hryvnias, since January 1, 2010 - 825 hryvnias, since April 1 - 839 hryvnias, since July 1 - 843 hryvnias, since October 1 - 861 hryvnias, since December 1 - 875 hryvnias and for those who treats the main social and demographic groups of the population:
Also deputies suggest to establish such size of minimum wage: since November 1, 2009 - 744 hryvnias, since January 1, 2010 - 869 hryvnias, since April 1 - 884 hryvnias, since July 1 - 888 hryvnias, since October 1 - 907 hryvnias, since December 1 - 922 hryvnias.
