We will remind, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted on October 20, 2009 as a whole the law No. 4762 On establishment of a living wage and the minimum wage, submitted for consideration of parliament by the deputy from Blok of Litvin Oleg Zarubinsky. On October 28 the President of Ukraine Yushchenko declared that won't veto this law.
The law offers to establish a living wage as like as two peas counting on a month in a size of 1 November - 701 UAH, since January 1, 2010 - 825 UAH, since April 1 - 839 UAH, since July 1 - 843 UAH, since October 1 - 861 UAH, since December 1 - 875 UAH
The document also provides establishment of such size of minimum wage: since November 1 - 744 UAH, since January 1, 2010 - 869 UAH, since April 1 - 884 UAH, since July 1 - 888 UAH, since October 1 - 907 UAH, since December 1 - 922 UAH
We will remind, on October 30 Yushchenko declared to journalists that signed the law.
On October 29 the Acting Minister of Finance Igor Umansky declared that the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine will suggest Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine not to carry out the law on increase соцстандартов in case of signing by his President of Ukraine.
By calculations of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine, total amount of additional expenses for realization of standards of the specified law of Ukraine will make: - 8,1 billion UAH in November - December, 2009 against expenses which are considered at the adoption of the state budget for 2009; - 71,3 billion UAH in 2010 against expenses which are considered in the draft of the state budget for 2010.
