Russia will reduce supply of transit gas through Ukraine if Kiev begins illegal selection of unpaid energy resources.
It was declared by the prime minister - the minister of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin on a press - conferences following the results of negotiations with the chancellor of Austria Werner Faymann, reports "Interfax".
"Partners will pay to us for deliveries for internal consumption, - means, will receive for internal consumption; won't pay for deliveries for internal consumption to Ukraine, - means, won't receive", - he told.
"If don't receive, most likely, there will be a selection from the export pipeline. As selection will begin, we will reduce giving", - Putin declared.
Answering a question of guarantees of winter supply of gas to Europe, the Russian prime minister emphasized that this question "it is necessary to turn today" not to Russia.
"Financial opportunities to pay are in Ukraine, it to us confirms the IMF", - Putin noted.
"A problem that there goes, among other things, also pre-election presidential fight and as you know, the head of the government and the president (Ukraine) are in different camps pre-election, they have internal political interests", - he told.
Putin added that is necessary, "without interfering with internal political processes in Ukraine", to achieve that execution of the international obligations including on transit to the European countries was provided.
