The Kiev city public administration notes a high incidence among citizens A(H1N1) flu.
About it journalists were told the first deputy chairman of municipal administration by Irena Quiltchitscaia.
She reported that on November 9 on the basis of Kiev city sanitarno - epidemiological station the third laboratory in which it is possible to define a virus of this flu, in additives to two existing in Ukraine opened.
Kilchitskaya explained that before her opening city hospitals selectively handed over materials for research on existence of flu of A(H1N1) in two existing laboratories in this connection the statistics of incidence of this flu in the capital was lower, than it is actually.
"When we started doing in Kiev these analyses in laboratory, only for the first day from 15 analyses 11 showed reaction to A(H1N1) " flu, - Kilchitskaya told.
Also she noted that further laboratory researches confirmed existence of this virus practically in 50% of cases.
In this regard the municipal administration addressed with the letter to Ministry of Health, the President Victor Yushchenko, the prime minister - to the minister Yulia Timoshenko and the National Security and Defense Council with a request to consider that the incidence of A(H1N1) flu in the territory of the city is much higher, than it was supposed earlier.
According to Kilchitskaya, as a whole in Kiev 6 lethal cases from - for A(H1N1) flu are recorded.
At the same time she noted that the general incidence of flu and sharp respiratory virus infections in the city gradually decreases thanks to quarantine measures.
Also the first deputy chairman of municipal administration I emphasized that to define further quarantine measures and to prolong existing it will be possible not earlier than November 16 when the situation with an incidence as much as possible will clear up.
Thus Kilchitskaya assured that if necessary the city can provide existence of 1 080 places in municipal medical institutions for placement of infectious patients, and also in addition open till 20-40 places at each hospital.
As it was reported, on November 5 Ministry of Health confirmed 2 cases of death in Kiev with suspicion on a virus of flu A (H1N1).
As of November 11 in Ukraine 70 cases of a virus of flu of A(H1N1), from them 17 deadly are confirmed.
