The gas transmission system of Ukraine (GTS) won't be put into operation to the third party. The prime minister reported about it - the minister of Ukraine Yulia Timoshenko in Severodonetsk today, speaking at meeting on questions of the chemical industry, the correspondent of RBC - Ukraine reports.

She also noted that by the beginning of 2009 in Ukraine the binding of cost of gas to the price of its transit through the territory of Ukraine was lost.

"It occurred after arrival of RosUkrEnergo and after that, we hard take problems which after that appeared. We were ready to deliver to us at once the market cost of transit (in January, 2009) but then the price has to be completely market.

Therefore I want to reject speculation which sound in mass media from certain politicians. If the President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko had an opportunity to offer for Ukraine the best terms of the contract (gas), it was necessary to make it.

Now we have some opportunities, and we will carry on further constructive dialogue with the Russian Federation on pricing for gas", - the prime minister told.
