The first vice-the prime minister Oleksandr Turchynov the assignment of June 12, 2008 actually rejected the Mintranssvyaz initiative about Dnepro's reorganization - Bugsky sea trade port by accession to the Nikolaev MTP.
In the text of an order of A.Turchinov it is spoken: "The draft of the order of the Cabinet "About reorganization of the state enterprise "Dnepro — Bugsky Sea Trade Port" as not coordinated in accordance with the established procedure comes back". In official language it means that the initiative of Mintranssvyaz won't be realized.
As it was already reported, the initiative of association of ports of the region was taken by the chief of the Nikolaev seaport Vasily Kapatsyna. But through specialized port Oktyabrsk there is a processing of military equipment therefore security officers then the only port for "association" there was Dnepro - Bugsky, most likely, interfered with a situation. In a result and this port the government yet doesn't wish to give to Vasily Kapatsyna's "management".
The portal "Transport business of Ukraine" assumes that at Oleksandr Turchynov the idea of accession to the Nikolaev MTP raised doubts. This largest port of the region considerably increased recently cargo handling volumes, generally due to work in port of the private stevedoring companies on the terms of joint activity. Thus growth of cargo handling isn't accompanied by the same growth of the income of state enterprise, notes tbu.com.ua. Though indicators of net profit of the enterprise in 2007 grew to a posravneniye since 2006 by 7%.
Cargo handling, thousand tons.
Income, one thousand UAH
Expenses, one thousand UAH
Net profit, one thousand UAH
Receivables, one thousand UAH
Accounts payable, one thousand UAH
Payments in the budget, one thousand UAH
The chief Dnepro - Bugsky MTP Alexander Nagirny who has sounded the position concerning possible association of ports at the end of May adheres to the same point of view also: "We will finance, subsidize work of joint ventures which work today under a sign of the Nikolaev seaport".
