Only every tenth Ukrainian believes in fair elections.
Whether experts of Institute of Gorshenin came to such conclusion by results of a telephone survey on a subject "There will be presidential elections honest? ".
According to the results of poll transferred to agency of the UNIAN, only 10,5% of respondents are sure that an election of the president of Ukraine will be honest.
51,1% of respondents expressed confidence that presidential election will be forged. Thus about a third of Ukrainians (33,9%) consider that falsifications will take place, but they won't affect result of elections, and 17,2% assume the falsifications influencing their end result on future elections. 38,4% found it difficult to answer, whether there will be falsifications on upcoming elections.
At the same time, the vast majority of Ukrainians (86,1%) declared that never voted on elections for remuneration.
Experts of Institute of Gorshenin pay attention that in 2007 the same was approved by 91,4% of citizens of Ukraine, thus between 2007 - m and 2009 of elections wasn't. Experts don't exclude that, probably, some respondents of this research meant the readiness to vote for remuneration at the upcoming presidential election.
Admitted that voted on elections for remuneration, 11,3% of respondents (in 2007 - 8,6%), and found it difficult to answer a question - 2,6% of respondents.
The vast majority of citizens of Ukraine (91,4%) never had to vote on elections under pressure or threat. At Gorshenin's Institute note that in 2007 similar data - 91,9% were obtained. What to vote under pressure or threat it was necessary to them, 6,7% of respondents (in 2007 - 8,1%) admitted, and 1,9% found it difficult to answer the matter.
Almost all Ukrainians (97,5%) are negative to falsifications on elections. From them 71,3% stated "the extremely negative" the relation to it, and 26,2% at the negative relation to falsifications understand that it already became norm in Ukraine. In 2007 the negative relation to falsification of results of elections declared 90% of respondents. From them "as the extremely negative" this fact was considered by 65,4%, and that it became norm in Ukraine, declared 24,6% of respondents.
2,1% of Ukrainians (in 2007 such answer was given by 5,8% of respondents) are positive to falsifications on elections if it serves interests of the state and the people, and only 0,4% found it difficult to define the relation to falsifications on elections.
Besides, as showed research, the majority of Ukrainians (73,6%) considers that quality of their life depends on the one who becomes the following President of Ukraine.
From them 37,2% declared that quality of their life depends on it "substantially", and 36,4% - "somewhat".
For comparison, the institute provides data of the August poll in which 70,4% of respondents noted that quality of their life depends on the one who becomes the following President, from them gave the answer "substantially" 35,4%, "somewhat" - 35% of respondents.
Almost every fifth Ukrainian (19,7%) considers that his life doesn't depend in any way on the one who will win presidential election. In August, 2009 so considered 21,7% of respondents. Found it difficult to answer the matter of 6,7% of respondents.
The vast majority of citizens of Ukraine (83,6%) are going to take part in presidential election. From them 65,2% of respondents are sure of it precisely, and 18,4% answered: "it is rather yes".
5,8% of Ukrainians aren't going to participate in presidential elections only. From them 3,5% gave the answer "isn't present" rather, and 2,3% are absolutely sure that won't come to elections.
Every tenth respondent (10,6%) yet didn't decide on the answer to the matter.
Whether Gorshenin's institute conducted a telephone survey on a subject "There will be presidential elections honest? " from December 2 to December 4, 2009. In total according to casual selection 1000 respondents aged from 18 years, in all regional centers of Ukraine, Kiev and Sevastopol were interrogated. The region of residence, floor and age of respondents were quotas. The error of a representativeness of research doesn't exceed +/-3,2%.
