On July 7, during arrival to Nikolaev Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Yu. Lutsenk, the criticism to the Nikolaev Organized Crime Control Department sounded. The minister gave three months on elimination of shortcomings of work.
After that the chief of the Nikolaev management on fight against organized crime militia colonel Sergey Gumenyuk wrote the official report about holiday with the subsequent dismissal.
Now, temporarily duties of the chief of the Nikolaev Organized Crime Control Department are fulfilled by one of S. Gumenyuk's deputies, the Luhansk citizen V. Zhuravel who worked earlier in Kherson and in the Crimea.
As it became known from the reliable sources, one of the most probable applicants for a position of the head of department on fight against organized crime of Regional Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in the Nikolaev area is other Luhansk citizen - the militia colonel I. Veretinsky. At present it holds a position of the chief of the Ochakov District Department of Internal Affairs.
Today it stays in Kiev where will communicate to the first deputy minister - the chief of head department on fight against organized crime of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Vladimir Bedrikovsky.
