The Polish class will open on the basis of the May Day gymnasium.

The representative of Consulate general of the Republic of Poland in Odessa, vice-the consul Voychekh Baranovski visited Pervomaisk. During visit the consul met the mayor of Pervomaisk and the management of a city gymnasium. With the director of a gymnasium signed the contract on the basis of which the gymnasium provides an office. The office will be equipped for money of consulate and completely adapted for Polish studying. From Poland there will arrive the teacher of Polish, the office equipment, textbooks will be delivered. It is planned that since September 1 of this year the Polish class will open, and pupils will be able to learn Polish.
When in Pervomaisk the Polish class will open, the exchange of pupils will be organized, pupils from Pervomaisk will come to Poland, and Polish - to Pervomaisk. This exchange will be on a free basis as in Poland there are the funds financing such actions.
In total this year by means of consulate Poland was visited by more than 400 children from the Odessa consular district. It is planned that next year children will join this group of Pervomaisk.
The consul also told that in the Southern federal district 6 Polish teachers work already, and four more will arrive. All of them can organize courses in language for adults. So to Polish will be able to study and adults.
