Katerinchuk became closer to Chernovetsky

33,5% of inhabitants of Kiev if elections of the capital city chairman took place on the next Sunday would vote for the present mayor of Kiev Leonid Chernovetsky.

Results of the sociological poll which has been carried out by the sociological company of New testify to it - Image marketing of groups on a subject: Kiev elections: results of the third wave of telephone researches.

Nikolay Katerinchuk's nomination on elections of the mayor would be supported by 18,3% of respondents, Vitaly Klitschko - 15,5%, Oleksandr Turchynov - 6,3%, Aleksandra Omelchenko - 3%, Vasily Gorbal - 1,5%, Victor Pilipishin - 2,4%. 1,5% of respondents would vote for other candidate, against all - 4,8%,-13,2% weren't defined.

Also poll showed that if elections in Kiyevsovet took place on the next Sunday, for Chernovetsky's Block the votes would be given by 23,4% of inhabitants of Kiev, for BYuT - 21,3%, for Klitschko's Block - 13,8%, for Blok Katerinchuka - 6,1%, WELL - NANOSECOND - 4,1%, to Partiy of regions - 3,9%, Blok of Omelchenko - 2,2%, Litvin's block - 2,1%, KPU - 1,3%, SPU - 1%, THE HOOK - 1,3%.

According to the director of the company Oleg Sinayuk, these rating indicators of key candidates (Chernovetsky, Katerinchuk, Klitschko, Turchynov) are caused by dynamics of expansion of substantial part of advertizing products which had to open sense of campaign of candidates, record the main directions of their activity as the mayor. But this task can't be solved by only one advertizing products - as show results of this research, the expert noted.

According to the political expert Dmitry Gromakov, certain tendencies of change of rating indicators of leaders of race are caused by specifics of strategic rates of campaigns of candidates. For example, he noted, positive dynamics of a rating of Katerinchuk is caused by that now it recorded the greatest number of personal meetings with voters on districts of the city whereas campaigns of other candidates are limited to only advertizing products (rollers, leaflets, posters, etc.), as limits possibilities of candidates to open an essence of the program positions.

Sociological survey in Kiev was conducted from May 5 to May 7, 2008.The method of a telephone survey interrogated 1200 respondents is more senior than 18 years. The number of respondents in each area is proportional to number of inhabitants is more senior than 18 years. The theoretical error of selection doesn't exceed 2,8%.
