Increase of an electoral threshold at parliamentary elections to 10% will lead to usurpation of the party power in Ukraine. I expressed such opinion to RBC - Ukraine the expert of the Center of researches of political values Alexander Medvedev.

"Increase of an electoral threshold at parliamentary elections to 10% is any more democratization of society and political system, and usurpation of the party power in Ukraine two party oligarchical institutes which will rule the state. I don't think that in Ukraine at this stage it is possible", - he told. The expert noted that the parliament can vote for these changes in the Constitution but as far as they will be realized - remains under a big question.

And Medvedev explained that for a raising of an electoral threshold on elections in the Verkhovna Rada it is necessary to make changes to the Constitution, instead of to adopt laws, "therefore such questions so simply can't pass in BP".

He emphasized that PR and BYuT - the largest fractions in parliament, but is also smaller at which and the rating grows and which cooperate both with PR and with BYuT. "It is so simple to vote it is possible, but consequences for these political forces can be different", - he told.

According to the expert, acceptance of changes to the Basic law is favorable the prime minister - to the minister Yulia Timoshenko who intends to propose the candidature at the upcoming presidential election. It is worth paying also attention that BYuT and PR fraction apply at present locally - tactical actions, A. Medvedev noted. "Now at them it turns out, but the bases for further development of the BYuT union with PR while aren't present", - he told.

"Vote of several days in a row it is good but as two candidates for president Yulia Timoshenko and Victor Yanukovych in joint votes will behave further it isn't known", - the expert noted. In his opinion, in this case the conflict of interests will be inevitable.
