BYuT isn't going to raise an electoral threshold

The leader of BYuT fraction Ivan Kirilenko declares that the initiative about increase of an electoral threshold is "emotions" of the People's Deputy Sergey Terekhin, instead of a fraction position. He told about it today to journalists.

According to Kirilenko, it is a question of a legislative initiative of the People's Deputy, "it is emotions", reports " UNIAN".

As reported ForUm, the People's Deputy from BYuT Terekhin submitted for consideration of the Verkhovna Rada the bill "About modification of the Law of Ukraine "About elections of People's Deputies of Ukraine" (about an electoral threshold). According to him, this bill provides to raise an electoral threshold on elections in BP to 10%.

Terekhin noted that in fraction BYuT "on this subject positive discussion proceeds".

According to the deputy, it him "personal belief" in need to raise an electoral threshold and to create two-party system. As Terekhin explained, "then small fractions won't be bought up" and won't leave the coalition.
