The chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Arseniy Yatsenyuk signed the bills limiting powers of the president of Ukraine and adopted by Rada at the beginning of September.
According to the UNIAN, they were directed on the signature to Victor Yushchenko.
After 15 days from the moment of obtaining bills the president of Ukraine has to or reject them, having returned on consideration to Rada, or to sign documents then they will enter validity.
We will remind the laws signed by Yatsenyuk were adopted by Rada at the meeting which has taken place on September 2. In protest at unanimity of BYuT (Yulia Tymoshenko Bloc), Party of Regions and Communist Parties of Ukraine, voting for Yushchenko's limiting powers laws, meeting defiantly were left by deputies of fraction of Yushchenko of NUNS ("Our Ukraine - National self-defense").
The bills which have caused political crisis give the prime minister - to the minister of Ukraine the right to appoint and dismiss Ministers of Defence and foreign affairs, simplify procedure of impeachment of the president and remove the obligation to be guided by acts of the president from Cabinet of Ministers.
