Miners of Lugansk addressed to the President

On September 8 in Lugansk took place a press - conference on which representatives of miner's collectives of the Luhansk region for the purpose of the collective address to the President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko gathered.

In the text of the address there is a speech that "on September 2, 2008 the Verkhovna Rada, almost unanimously, 446 voices adopted the Law "About Increase of Prestigiousness of Miner's Work". This law we waited for 17 years. It was deserved by those who every day, in very severe conditions, with risk for life provides power independence of our country.

And it, at last, became clear to each People's Deputy.

However, we are guarded with that the Law still isn't signed by you. While, for example "" You signed the law on the Cabinet directly in parliament.

We appeal to you as soon as possible to sign the Law No. 3091 "About increase of prestigiousness of miner's work" and the Law No. 3088 "About modification of the Law of Ukraine "About the State budget of Ukraine for 2008 and about modification of some acts of Ukraine".

We hope that you will consider opinion of 100 thousand miners of the Luhansk region and soon these laws you will be signed and published in the Golos Ukrainy newspaper.

The address is signed by representatives of miner's collectives of the Luhansk region, on a press - conferences were present Heroes of Ukraine, chairmen of mining trade-union committees and foremen of the miner's enterprises.
