The representative of the Secretariat of the president, the head of service of ensuring communications with the Verkhovna Rada and the Cabinet Jan Bernazyuk didn't let today on government meeting.
He reported about it to journalists. According to him, it was made at the request of the prime minister - the minister Yulia Timoshenko.
Ya.Bernazyuk reported that the prime minister motivated the actions by absence of the personal address of the President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko, written or oral, concerning presence of his representative at meeting of Cabinet of Ministers. Such norm contains in the new edition the law on the Cabinet, accepted at the beginning of September of this year, he explained. Thus Ya.Bernazyuk emphasized that the specified edition of the law didn't come into force and will be vetoed by the President.
Ya.Bernazyuk also reported that doesn't intend to appeal to court to organize the presence at government meeting by means of the state performers. "As practice shows, 90% of remarks and proposals of the President of Ukraine all the same aren't considered during government meetings. Therefore it is necessary - to control other way legality of actions of the government. For example, today the government will consider a protest of the State Office of Public Prosecutor on the decision on the admission to the state secret of the chairman of NKRE", - Ya.Bernazyuk told.
