The local population of the Black Sea villages of the Nikolaev area is alarmed the facts of unloading of vessels on raid in the sea.
The chairman of the Village Council Rybakovki Victor Bizikov declares that in Nikolaeva ports nobody controls open sea parking where vessels with bauxites, coal, manganese and iron ores unload.
Meanwhile inhabitants of villages Koblevo and Rybakovka complain of pollution of water and beaches from an overload of loose freights on raid nearby. Earlier local fishermen caught a jack mackerel, a mullet, a pike perch, the bream, sturgeons. Now - only crucians and a bull-calf.
Contractors consider that the overload doesn't harm to environment. In Nikolaevsk the sea trade port which is carrying out these works, claim that the port has permissions to works. Besides, once a year air and water in the area is checked by independent ecological establishments.
However the first verification of road point by deputies of regional council revealed violation of the nature protection legislation: between vessels and plavkrany there was no covering to protect the sea from a coal vysypaniye. And though dockers claim that it is the first case in 12 years, inhabitants of villages start sounding alarm. They are afraid that in view of environmental pollution Rybakovk's village can lose the status of the informal children's resort. Today here from 117 recreation facilities works 19 improving children's camps.
Than this history will end - in many respects depends on deputies of the Nikolaev regional council. They plan to order independent examination and then to draw conclusions.
