About it it is spoken in the bill No. 3186 "About modification of the law of Ukraine "About elections of People's Deputies of Ukraine" (concerning improvement of selective procedures), registered in Rada on September 18.
In particular, the project offers to withdraw points according to which snap elections of Rada admit cancelled if in them took part less than a half from total of voters from article 102 of the relevant law 9 and 10.
Besides, the project offers to withdraw from the law of norm on obligatory representation in district election commissions of fractions of Rada which enter into the coalition and opposition.
The author also suggests to provide the right of presence at Central Election Commission meetings to deputies of parliament, and not just candidates, and at meetings district or the precinct election commission - employees of the Secretariat of the Central Election Commission, service of the manager of the State register of voters.
In the form of the form of the protocol of local electoral commission about counting of votes on the polling station the project offers to provide an order of its filling.
In the explanatory note to the bill the author notes that his purpose is ensuring realization and protection of the electoral rights of citizens guaranteed by the Constitution.
As it was reported, in June, 2007 the Verkhovna Rada made changes to the law on elections of deputies of parliament to settle holding snap elections, having established for them a turnout threshold of 50% of voters.
The committee of voters of Ukraine predicts holding snap elections of the Verkhovna Rada in December.
On September 3 the President Victor Yushchenko declared intention to dismiss Rada in case of not creation of the new coalition in parliament in the terms established by the legislation.
