The Nikolaev enterprises provide 16 percent of nation-wide volume of wine

The food industry is one of primary branches of the industry of area which unites in itself 9 kinds of activity and 16% of all industrial enterprises. In branch 15% of workers are occupied, over 10% of cost of fixed assets are concentrated and nearly 30% of all industrial output of area are realized. In structure of volume of realization of products of the food industry for the last years the most part (about 90%) is made traditionally by drinks, dairy products, juice production both tinned vegetables and fruit.

This is one of most dynamically developing branches in whom for the last seven years outputs increased by 3,5 times.

To the Ukrainian consumers trademarks of the Nikolaev producers of dairy products - Slaviya (JSC Bashtansky Syrzavod) of, Prezident (JSC Laktalis-Nikolaev), alcoholic beverages - Amber beer (The Nikolaev office of JSC Sun InBev Ukraine), wine of Koblevo (JSC Koblevo), juice "Sandora", "Sadochek", for Dar (JSC Sandora), Greenwich (JSC Zeleny Guy) cognacs are widely known.

The enterprises of Nikolayevshchina provide 5% of nation-wide output of sour-milk products, 11% - the condensed milk and cream, 12% - cognac and natural tinned vegetables, 16% - grape wine, nearly 20% - the fresh not fermented and sour-milk cheese. And in production of juice production of the enterprise of area take a leading place - they made about a half of fruit, vegetable juice and the nectars, three quarters of children's juice.

Among the southern regions the area wins first place on production of butter, sour-milk products, and also the fresh not fermented and sour-milk cheese.

In 2008 producers continue to increase output.So it is, more, than in 9 months of last year, it is made cream, frozen beef, dry milk and cream, natural juice, sausage products, salty, dried or smoked pork, cognacs, butter, spreads - for 7-15%, grape wine, abomasal cheeses, pies - for 22-29%, soft drinks - for 39%, prepared mustard and tinned natural vegetables - for 42%, processed cheese - for 44%, chocolates - twice, vinegar - by 2,6 times, meat semi-finished products - by 41 times.
