The deputy minister of transport and communication Igor Urbansky disproves the participation in the company - to the owner of the vessel "Faina" which was taken by pirates near coast of Somalia.
"I personally and the Kaalbye Shipping or Kaalbye Group company we aren't the owner of the vessel "Faina", - Urbansky declared, making comments on information of the Kommersant-Ukraina newspaper on his probable participation in the vessel "Faina".
"The real owner of a vessel takes part long ago in all negotiation processes and has documents which confirm that he is a shipowner. These data are known the public", - he added.
Urbansky claims that he "accurately told the same data to the correspondent of the edition who addressed in a press - service of Ministry of Transport with a request to receive the comment".
Ministry of Transport addressed to the editor-in-chief of the edition with the requirement to provide the official documents confirming information stated in article. The official answer to the letter in the ministry will wait within three days.
Urbansky warns that in case of failure to provide supporting documents he will consider that the edition has no them at the order.
Therefore, marks out the deputy minister, he "with a total probability will regard the publication as untrue and for the purpose of protection of own business reputation will demand a denial of spread information about his possible participation in "Faina".
In case of lack of reaction from the edition Urbansky "will be compelled to solve the matter in a judicial order".
It is known that on Thursday the secretariat of the president addressed in SBU and the State Office of Public Prosecutor with a request to check published information on Urbansky's possible participation in the company - to the owner of the vessel "Faina".
