Yushchenko resumed work of parliament and transferred date of snap parliamentary elections

The president of Ukraine Victor YUSHCHENKO suspended the decree about parliament dissolution to give the chance to the Verkhovna Rada to adopt anti-recessionary laws.

As the correspondent of the UNIAN reports, the head of state reported about it in a statement.

V. Yushchenko emphasized that in view of the fact that actions of BYuT and the government made impossible elections on December 7, the National Security and Defense Council made the decision to recognize such policy unacceptable. According to V. Yushchenko, on the basis of this decision he signed the decree about renewal of work of BP for some days.

During this time BP has to accept a number of anti-recessionary laws.

Also the President postponed date of elections since December 7 to December 14, 2008

The president emphasized that wants that within two working days of BP I accepted a number of necessary decisions for early elections. In particular, it is a question of normalization of work of the Central Election Commission, and also financing of early elections.
