Governmental newspapers printed Yushchenko's decree without date of elections

Newspapers of the Verkhovna Rada and the Cabinet "Voice of Ukraine" and "the Uryadovy courier" published on Wednesday the decree of the president of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko about stay of action of the decree of October 9 about the early termination of powers of parliament and purpose of snap parliamentary elections.

On the official site of the head of the Ukrainian state this decree was published on Monday, October 20.

According to the document, Yushchenko established "to terminate the decree of the president of Ukraine of October 9, 2008 N 911 "About early stay of powers of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the VI convocation and purpose of snap elections".

Thus in the decree of October 20 date of transfer of elections isn't called.

At the same time in the statement for mass media on Monday the president declared that snap parliamentary elections are postponed with 7-го to December 14. "For normal preparation for elections I made the decision to postpone vote date for December 14, 2008", - the head of state told.

The decree comes into force from the date of its publication.
