Recently around the city hearings spread that the Nikolaev sea trade port refuses to finance the hospital and it either will close, or will transfer to fixed assets to the city. Disturbing calls from inhabitants began to arrive and in our edition. People refused to tell the names and surnames, but claimed that the chief of port doesn't want to be engaged in hospital financing as it is very expensive. Already personnel reduction in hospital began.
- Even the mayor Vladimir Chaika went to the chief of seaport, but also it didn't manage to convince the last to continue clinic financing, - spoke called in edition.
The hospital of the Nikolaev sea trade port is on Chigrin St., 63а. This clinic was always financed by the Ministry of transport of Ukraine and served the staff of port, pensioners of this enterprise and their close relatives.
- The hospital till today worked in four directions - stomatology, policlinic, a day hospital and the round-the-clock hospital, - the chief physician of hospital Irina Matveeva speaks. - This year after check by regional CREWE it was revealed that only 1/3 part of premises of clinic is involved, 2/3 other territories are empty. But after all all rooms are heated, shined. Besides, from 30 beds of the round-the-clock hospital more than 50-ти percent in recent years weren't used. Now only 4 persons lie. Therefore the decision to close the round-the-clock hospital was made. All the rest will work further, and to provide services.
As, according to the chief physician, the budget of financing of clinic for 2009 made 2 million hryvnias. If the round-the-clock hospital continued to work further, only it would be necessary to spend 1 million 700 thousand hryvnias for a salary of employees. And after all money for catering department work is still necessary. Now there is a reduction of the younger and average medical personnel, the catering department in hospital any more won't be.People who need treatment, will be able to come to a day hospital. What need treatment on a hospital, will receive it in other hospitals by the territorial principle.
