In the third quarter of this year the volume of direct foreign investments in Ukraine decreased twice in comparison with the similar period of 2007.
In January - September of this year the foreign companies invested 1,2 billion dollars in Ukraine.
The Ukrainian neighbors Russia, Poland and Hungary in the third quarter actively brought the capitals out of the Ukrainian economy. The vice-chairman of Association of the Polish businessmen in Ukraine Marian Pshezdetsky notes that first of all the country is left by the companies of construction sector. "It is firms which rent or supply construction companies with equipment, - he explains. - But 2-3 months nobody pays to them". Aggravate a situation and statements of the Ukrainian authorities for turning of financing of many infrastructure projects. So, after "Ukravtodor's" statement for revision of plans of repair and a construction of roads to Euro-2012, the Russian companies began to sell the pits extracting rubble in large quantities.
Other countries while only reduced the volume of investment. In leaders on injection in economy of Ukraine following the results of the third quarter there was Cyprus which pressed Germany. Thus the Cyprian enterprises enclosed in the Ukrainian economy 4 times smaller, than in the third quarter of last year, - about 228 million dollars. As explains the vice-the president investment - bank department of the Socrates company Oleg Babur, in the conditions of crisis a number of the registered in Cyprus Ukrainian and Russian companies which and invested earlier in the country, now, on the contrary, will use an offshore zone for the purpose of economy.
The former leader Germany took following the results of the second quarter 6-е a place, with a size of investments of 69,7 million dollars. On the total amount of investments Germans still hold the second place. Generally in Ukraine the German investors displace construction projects.
According to forecasts of analysts, the negative gain on investments in Ukraine will remain until the end of this year and will be observed at the beginning of the following. However representatives of foreign business aren't so optimistical. Pshezdetsky predicts that if the situation in Ukraine isn't stabilized, in 2 years mass outflow of the Polish companies from here can begin."Investors leave because expected that time of changes in Ukraine will last 3-4 years after "orange" revolution. These changes weren't, and we see that they won't be soon. How many it is possible to wait? " - he is indignant.
