Witz - the president of the World bank across Europe and Central Asia to Shigeo Katz advises the authorities of Ukraine not to discuss publicly valyutno - course policy.

I reported about it to journalists at a briefing.

"If I was the head of National bank Stelmakh, or vice-the prime minister - the minister Nemyrey, or madam the prime minister - the minister that I precisely wouldn't do - I publicly wouldn't discuss a question valyutno - an exchange rate", - told Katz.

He noted that it is extremely delicate question on which especially the representative of other country shouldn't make comments.

"I can tell only that is very important that there was a consistent policy concerning a course which would openly be sounded for the market", - he added.

Also I told to Katz that the board of directors of the World bank can make the decision on granting to Ukraine of the third loan on development policy of $500 million till Catholic Christmas.

. To Katz specified that the loan will be provided on standard conditions of the World bank Libor plus two basic points for a period of 30 years.

He also noted that the Ukrainian authorities began to take steps for crisis overcoming at its early stage, and the certificate to that is the agreement signed with the IMF, on granting the credit.

At the same time, according to him, granting a loan is an only first step on a way of structural reforms.

On November 26 the prime minister - the minister Yulia Timoshenko at meeting of the Ukrainian government reported that the World bank granted to Ukraine the loan for the sum of 3 billion hryvnias for a period of 30 years under 5% per annum.

According to her, this money is intended on repayment of deficiency of the State budget.

Earlier World bank declared readiness to allocate within the closest three years of $130 billion for projects on assistance to the developing countries which were affected by financial, food and power crises.
