The Ministry of Internal Affairs doesn't fix increase in quantity of crimes in connection with an economic crisis in the state.
It at a briefing was declared by the deputy minister of internal affairs Vasily Marmazov, transfers UNIAN.
"Special increase in quantity of crimes it is noted. On the contrary, for January - October is reduction of crime by 4%, and especially serious crimes - almost for 10%", - Marmazov told.
He emphasized that possible increase of a crime rate in connection with an economic crisis about which warned the Ministry of Internal Affairs, is based on expert estimates, but now quantitative indices don't confirm this forecast.
At the same time, the chief of Regional Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in Odessa region Bogdan Kernitsky reported in the comment "To mirror of week" that unemployment growth in Odessa region leads to increase in quantity of property crimes.
According to him, the frozen constructions became the main source of jobless illegal immigrants on city streets.
According to the head of the Odessa militia, quantity of property crimes increased almost by 25%, and they are directed, in most cases, against personal property.
At the same time the head of GU Regional Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in Donetsk region Nikolay Kupyansky suggests to create the crisis centers with which representatives of state institutions and psychologists will help victims of an economic crisis. In his opinion, they will help to slow down the rise in crime caused by unemployment.
According to him, law enforcement agencies already felt the beginning of splash in the crime caused by an economic crisis. "Figures testify that in September, October, November quantity of certain types of crimes grew. We already feel it", - Kupyansky declared.
