Ukraine didn't sign the protocol on creation of the multilateral commission on monitoring of transit of gas through the territory of the republic, offered by Russia, from - for positions of the president of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko, the official representative of "Gazprom" Sergey Kupriyanov reported on Saturday.
"We see these statements of the Ukrainian party, but the protocol on creation of the multilateral commission on monitoring of transit of gas through the territory of Ukraine isn't signed, and it means that, on - visible, to supply of our gas once again stirs the decision or absence of the decision of the president of Ukraine", - he told.
Earlier it was reported that the European observers arrived to Kiev on Friday and started monitoring implementation. However, as the representative of "Gazprom" until the protocol isn't signed by all parties noted, these experts have no status of observers. Besides, work on monitoring has to be carried out not in Kiev, and on entrances and exits of the Ukrainian gas transmission system and on underground gas storages of Ukraine.
On Friday the Ukrainian prime minister Yulia Timoshenko reported that Ukraine is ready to sign the protocol offered by Russia. The Russian option provides "mirror" presence of experts of two countries in the territory of Ukraine and Russia.
"We will sign such protocol", - told Tymoshenko after negotiations with the head of the government of the Czech Republic presiding in EU Mirek Topolanek. On Friday evening in the house of receptions of the head of the Ukrainian state the meeting of the president of Ukraine of Victor Yushchenko, Tymoshenko and Topolanek took place.
