"Gazprom" on Tuesday morning began trial supply of gas in the direction of the Balkans through compressor station "Sudzha".
The Vesti TV channel showed as the specialist of "Gazprom" in phone gives the corresponding indication of the Gazprom transgaz Moscow company, reports "Interfax".
The chief dispatcher of "Gazprom" on Tuesday gave command about renewal of supply of gas through gas-distributing station "Sudzha" on the territory of Ukraine of 76,6 million cubic meter per day for ensuring transit of gas through the territory of Ukraine for consumers of the Balkan region, Turkey and Moldova, reports ITAR - TASS.
"Ukrtransgaz" received the fax from "Gazprom" about the beginning of trial pumping of gas at 10:00 Moscow time.
As noted in "Naftogaz" of Ukraine, for gas transportation from east Ukraine to the western border it is necessary till 36 o'clock.
Here too noted that in the Ukrainian gas pipelines after a suspension of transit there is about 1 billion cube of meters of gas. "Pipes not empty, gas in them are that is caused by technological norms", - told in the company.
The day before the head of Gazprom Alexey Miller at a meeting with the prime minister of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin reported that on Tuesday the company "will begin trial pumping of gas through Sudzha station (in Russia) in the direction of the western consumers and gas-measuring station "Orlovka" (in Ukraine) which allows to provide supply of gas to consumers of the Balkan countries".
And the president of Russia Dmitry Medvedev in telephone conversation with the president of Ukraine on Monday urged Victor Yushchenko "to take all measures in order that the international observers to the shortest terms arrived to places of control and got down to work".
Medvedev emphasized that "right after it Russia will have an opportunity immediately to begin supply of transit gas through Ukraine to the European consumers and gradually to restore a regular mode of transit".
