The European Union, putting in the gas conflict Moscow and Kiev on one board, actually supports Ukraine.
It was declared by the prime minister - the minister of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin on a press - conferences following the results of negotiations with the German chancellor Angela Merkel, reports "Interfax - Ukraine".
"The position of the European Union which puts on the same level Russia and Ukraine, actually is support of Ukraine which violates the transit obligations", - Putin declared.
The prime minister of the Russian Federation reminded that Ukraine ratified the Power charter therefore "Kiev under any circumstances is obliged to provide transit".
"Everything that we had in previous years is no other than the blackmail connected with desire to receive cheap gas, and to provide competitive advantages in the European market", - Putin emphasized.
In his opinion, it "is connected with confusion and corruption schemes".
"Once it needs to put an end, including in interests of the Ukrainian people", - the Russian prime minister noted, having hoped that "we will manage it".
"Such situation, as now when to us speak: or give us everything for nothing, or is three times cheaper, and otherwise we will block transit of your gas to Europe and Europe will press you - such situation tolerantly can't be" any more, - Putin declared.
Merkel in turn, evaded the question who is guilty in blockade of transit of gas to Europe.
"I now wouldn't like to speak who is guilty. Very seldom in such situation happens one party" is guilty, - she told.
According to her, "it is extremely important that we structurally worked over a solution (supply of gas to consumers) and I hope that at today's negotiations we sewed a way which will help us to resume transit".
Merkel also declared that "we as members of the European Union, we believe that we will receive our gas".
"Therefore it is necessary that both the supplier, and the transitor achieved a certain consent. It what we expect in this situation", - was told by the chancellor.
She hoped that "we will be able to go a constructive way, to solve this situation".
"I think that it and in interests of Russia that gas came to Western Europe", - was declared by Merkel.
