Supply of gas to Ukraine will be carried out at the price of $360 for one thousand cubic meter, the head of Gazprom Alexey Miller at a meeting with the president Dmitry Medvedev reported.
"In 2008 "Gazprom" delivered to Ukraine gas for $179,5 for one thousand cubic meter, and it was not so market price", - he reminded. "By December 31 we came to arrangements which weren't fixed, about the price in $250, but providing the mechanism of joint gas export that the Ukrainian party could gain income which would allow it to subsidize the consumers to $235", - he added.
"In the first quarter of this year gas will be delivered on a market formula of the price and the base price will make $450", - Miller reported. "Taking into account decreasing coefficient in 20%, the price will make $360", - he told. Miller noted that as gas prices will be estimated depending on prices of oil products, gas cost for Ukraine can change.
"Since 2010 "Gazprom" according to the long-term contract comes to market prices", - he added.
"Strictly speaking, we already came to the market principles of pricing, simply applied special conditions", - Medvedev corrected it.
