The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation I demanded from the Ukrainian party to stop development of a number of the oil-and-gas areas in the Black Sea as their legal status isn't defined yet.
According to arriving information, the Ukrainian companies together with the companies of the third countries now conduct active development of the oil-and-gas areas on a shelf of the Black Sea, in particular, around so-called "Subbotin's Structures".
Besides, development of resources of gas around so-called "Pallas's Raisings" is planned.
"The Russian side pays attention that the specified areas are a subject of negotiation process between the Russian Federation and Ukraine on differentiation of a continental shelf and an exclusive economic zone in the water area of the Black Sea. In this regard we believe that the specified activity has illegal character and has to be stopped", - the Russian Foreign Ministry, extended on Friday in Moscow is told in the comment of department of information and the press.
The source in the government of Ukraine called requirements of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs absurd.
"the Subbotinsky sea oil field is located within the Ukrainian part of a shelf of the Black Sea, and perspective Pallas Square which really is at the same time in the Russian and Ukrainian territory, is developed by nobody, - the interlocutor of agency noted.
The official reminded that "Chernomornaftogaz", the only Ukrainian company mastering the oil-and-gas areas within the Ukrainian part of a shelf of the Black and Azov seas, addressed earlier to Russian "Gazprom" with the offer in common to develop Pallas Square.
"The Ukrainian companies have no equipment and technologies for work on Pallas Square sea depth around which makes 500 meters", - the interlocutor of agency told.
At the same time in the government consider that the official position of Ukraine will be reflected soon by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
As it was reported, the chairman of the board of "Chernomornaftogaz" Anatoly Prisyazhnyuk earlier repeatedly noted need of attraction of the Russian side to development of Pallas Square which is in a zone of delimitation Ukrainian - the Russian border.
"Chernomornaftogaz" and NAK Naftogaz Ukrainy operating it in March, 2007 signed with "Gazprom" the tripartite protocol on intentions on joint development of Pallas Square.
The vice-chairman of board of "Gazprom" Valery Golubev in April of last year, being in Ukraine, I declared that the Russian concern doesn't show a particular interest in Pallas Square.
