In Kiev the inter-parliamentary assembly of BP of Ukraine, Diet of the Republic of Lithuania and Diet, the Senate of the Republic of Poland is created. The corresponding declaration was signed today by the chairman of BP Arseniy Yatsenyuk, the chairman of Diet of the Republic of Lithuania Cheslovas Yurshenas and the chairman of Diet and the Senate of the Republic of Poland Bogdan Boruchevich, the correspondent of RBC - Ukraine reports.
Opening assembly meeting, A.Yatsenyuk noted: "We hope that the inter-parliamentary assembly becomes one more factor of advance of Ukraine in Eurointegration space".
A.Yatsenyuk also added that the current year entering by the Ukrainian government into parliament of 28 acts which will approach Ukraine to EU is provided.
The declaration on creation of assembly notes in common political will in development of good-neighbourhood between Lithuania, Poland and Ukraine which relies on the general historical experience, cultural identity and the European values which gained nature of strategic partnership and assist fast development of democracy and stability in the region.
In too time A.Yatsenyuk hopes that the new strengthened agreement between Ukraine and EU will be absolutely new plan of action in relationship between Ukraine and EU.
He noted that Ukraine remarkably understands that the question of the European integration is a question not one day and at all one year. "Therefore, we don't welcome any fast declarations and any iridescent theses that the European integration will take place already tomorrow or the day after tomorrow", - the speaker noted.
He also added that it is difficult process from which it is necessary to receive a maximum, but it "and the road which needs to be taken place and in the European Union, and in Ukraine".
According to the speaker, forward reforms which are necessary to the Ukrainian state is the best answer to any eurointegration aspirations of Ukraine.
The speaker emphasized that at the moment between Ukraine and EU the Partnership and Cooperation Agreement which on the one hand in the majority of provisions already sputtered out works, and on the other hand negotiation process in the new strengthened agreement began. "The new strengthened agreement shouldn't be "UPS+", whether any new version OOPS, and we hope that it is absolutely new document that is absolutely new plan of action behind which accurate prospects of Ukraine and accurate mechanisms of realization of such actions" will be provided, - A.Yatsenyuk noted.
Thus A.Yatsenyuk hoped that the Lisbon agreement will be ratified by all countries members of EU.
According to him, failure which comprehended EU regarding ratification of the Lisbon agreement by Ireland, won't stop as a whole ratification of this document. He emphasized that without the so-called reformed agreement there can't be a question in the agenda of Europe concerning EU expansion. "We wish to Europe all the best regarding continuation of ratification process", - A.Yatsenyuk noted.
In turn, the chairman of Diet and the Senate of the Republic of Poland Bogdan Borusevich considers that the inter-parliamentary assembly between Poland, Ukraine and Lithuania has to concentrate on integration of Ukraine to ES, and also its accession to NATO.
At the same time he emphasized that presence at inter-parliamentary assembly of two members of NATO and EU gives the chance to Ukraine to get experience. "We will act that Ukraine received the status of the associable member of EU, and also we will initiate expansion and strengthening of east measurement of policy of EU", - he noted.
We will note, the statement for creation of inter-parliamentary assembly of Ukraine, Lithuania and Poland was signed by chairmen of parliaments on May 13, 2005 in Lutsk.
As it was reported, the meeting of the President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko, the President of Poland Lech Kaczyñski and the President of Lithuania Valdas Adamkus at which the parties decided to intensify regional tripartite cooperation took place on May 23.
