The parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe insists on carrying out to examination of the records made ex-the major of UGO Nikolay Melnichenko in an office ex-the president Leonid Kuchma.
"It is necessary to carry out immediately expertize of authenticity of records of conversations, allegedly, made in an office of the president (Leonid Kuchma), so-called "Melnichenko's records", - it is spoken in PACE resolution, reports "Interfax - Ukraine".
The assembly welcomes readiness of the Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine "to allow foreign experts to participate in examination of records and the used equipment".
The assembly considers that it is necessary to execute immediately and other investigative actions.
"Including to investigate circumstances under which two high-ranking officials - mister Ferre (the former chief of the office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Eduard Ferre) and mister Dagayev (ex-the head of Head department affairs of Ukraine, the general - the militia lieutenant Yury Dagayev) in 2003 had strokes then the first was paralyzed, and the second died", - is told in the resolution.
"Other resonant crimes - such as made concerning the deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Elyashkevich and the journalist Alexandrov … show existence of rough violations in activity of various power structures during Kuchma's presidency and not only", - it is emphasized in the resolution.
Also in the resolution of PACE it is noted violations in activity of security officers in a context "death in places of imprisonment of Goncharov - the alleged leader of the criminal group bossing within the walls of the Ministry of Internal Affairs".
