The official delegation of the European football Union under the leadership of the secretary general of UEFA David Taylor began the four-day visit to Ukraine, reports a press - service of Federation of soccer of Ukraine. The inspection group which part the director Evro-2012 Martine Cullen also are, the commercial director of UEFA Philip Margraff, the chairman of sponsor's committee and development of competitions Alan Ridley and the unit manager Evro-2012 concerning organization of events Loukas Akherman, will visit five Ukrainian cities - Kiev, Kharkov, Dnepropetrovsk, Odessa and Lviv. Delegation in the Ukrainian tour will accompany in particular vice-the prime minister - the minister Ivan Vasyunik and the president of FFU Grigory Surkis.
In the first day of visit inspectors of UEFA will examine a course of preparation for the continental final in Kiev. In particular, they will visit the Borispol airport, NSK "Olympic", the central railway station and will examine an independence and Kreshchatik St. Maidan where placement official the fan - UEFA zones is planned. Besides, experts will carry out a number of meetings, including with the mayor of the capital Leonid Chernovetsky, the minister of affairs of a family, youth and sports Yury Pavlenko, and also representatives of the main capital objects of infrastructure of Euro-2012. Today in the evening the joint delegation of UEFA, Cabinet of Ministers and FFU will take off for Kharkov where next day will perform inspection of the central part of the city, Metallist stadium, the southern railway station and the airport. Besides, meetings with city heads and areas are planned by Mikhail Dobkin and Arsen Avakov, and also the president of FC "Metallist" and one of the main private investors of preparation for Euro-2012 Alexander Yaroslavsky.
Tomorrow, on February 3, the official delegation will visit Dnepropetrovsk. Except traditional visits to the airport, on stadium and the railway station inspectors will visit gostinichno - "Bartolomeo's" entertainment complex, two zones (about dneprovsky "Arena" and the festival mooring) the fan - and a VIP-zone for UEFA. Meetings with the mayor Ivan Kulichenko and the chairman of a regional council Victor Bondarem are planned also. On the same day the inspection group will go to Odessa where will examine the downtown, stadium in park of Taras Shevchenko and Kulikovo field where placement the fan - zones is planned. Besides, inspectors will hold a meeting with the mayor Eduard Gurvits and the governor Nikolay Serdyuk, and also will examine presentation of the railway station, the concept of reconstruction of the airport. After that flying away to Lviv is planned.
In Lviv the UEFA delegation led by D. Taylor will examine a course of reconstruction of the airport, work of the railway station, construction of stadium and will meet heads of the region - the mayor Andrey Sadov and the head of the regional state administration Nikolay Kmitem. On Thursday, February 5, the delegation of UEFA will take off for Krakow.
