The Somali pirates released the Ukrainian vessel Faina after receiving repayment, Reuters reported with reference to the local helping with negotiations. "The last group of pirates left a ship board - now Faina is released", - he told.
Earlier release of crew of Faina declared a press - service of the president of Ukraine.
"17 seamen after more than four-months conclusion in couple of days will see native on the Ukrainian earth", - is spoken in the message.
The president Victor Yushchenko welcomes release of crew and thanks special prospecting bodies of Ukraine which carried out very difficult operation on release of seamen.
By words a press - the secretary president Irina Vannikova, on February 4 as a result of the difficult operation which has been carried out by prospecting bodies of Ukraine at interaction with foreign partner intelligence services, the vessel was released.
"All crew members are live and healthy, are onboard Faina, none of them didn't suffer. Now the vessel under protection of Naval Forces of the USA prepares for transition to Kenyan port Mombasa where medical care and other necessary help" will be provided to seamen, - she noted.
Vannikova noted that process of release of the Ukrainian citizens was under personal control of the president.
Press - the service doesn't specify, which intelligence services took part in release of seamen.
We will remind that on September 25, 2008 pirates took near the coast of Somalia the vessel Faina with 17 Ukrainians onboard.
On January 22 the representative of the owner of the vessel Faina Victor Murenko declared coordination with pirates of the sum of repayment.
Earlier it was reported that the first group of pirates of 8 people this morning I left a board of the Ukrainian vessel Faina.
Yesterday Somali pirates received repayment in 3,2 million dollars for release of the taken Ukrainian vessel Faina.
