The cabinet initiates introduction of the moratorium on increase of taxes for small and medium business in the period of an economic crisis.
The prime minister told a press about it - the minister Yulia Timoshenko on joint with vice-the president of the European commission Günter Verheugen - conferences.
"I absolutely support introduction of the moratorium on increase of any taxes for businessmen for financial crisis", - she told.
According to the prime minister - the minister, the relevant bill the government intends to consider at the next meeting on February 18.
Tymoshenko noted that this bill will provide introduction of the moratorium on increase of taxes for small and medium business and at local level.
"I consider that it is necessary to stop a temptation of officials of all levels to correct an economic situation during crisis at the expense of increase in taxes", - told Tymoshenko.
Thus the prime minister noted that her views and approach to this question differ from approach of the Minister of Finance Victor Pinzenyk who has resigned from a position.
"By the way, it was one of divergences between me as the prime minister - the minister and the former Minister of Finance", - added Tymoshenko.
Besides, the prime minister noted that everything, as for personnel changes in the government, will be known soon as now on this matter there takes place discussion in the coalition.
As it was reported earlier, in June, 2008 the prime minister - the minister Yulia Timoshenko declared desire of Ukraine to join the European charter for small enterprises.
The charter provides that creation for it of a most favored nation treatment, and the contents - creation by government institutions of economic and legal conditions and incentives of its successful development, and also an investment in it material and financial resources on favorable terms has to be a basis of regulation and assistance to development of small and average business.
