Tendencies in economy of Ukraine testify that the country goes to stagnation, the president Victor Yushchenko declares.
"Ukraine with such tendencies already gets to a stagnation mode when on the one hand we can't receive control of the prices, and on the other hand, in parallel there is a deep falling of an internal gross product", - Victor Yushchenko told, speaking at meeting of Association of the cities and communities on Friday in Kiev.
Victor Yushchenko called the prime minister - the minister Yulia Timoshenko, the Cabinet and the coalition in the Verkhovna Rada to concentrate on fight against an economic crisis.
"I call as the president of the country Yulia Vladimirovna (the prime minister - the minister Tymoshenko), the government, the coalition of deputies in parliament seriously to treat the subject devoted to fight against crisis", - he told.
In his opinion, for effective fight against crisis it is necessary to reconsider macroeconomic indicators for 2009, to accept changes in the state budget, to develop and accept a unified general anti-crisis plan.
Victor Yushchenko is also concerned by falling of gross domestic product and recession of the industry in January.
The president didn't call figure of falling of gross domestic product. "On falling it is difficult to tell, but experts designate both not 10 and not 15, and it is slightly more", - he told.
He also reported that recession of the industry in January reached a record indicator of 34,1% in comparison with January, 2008.
