Council of EU made the decision to forbid import of goods from the Crimea in the European Union.
The Foreign Minister of Lithuania Linas Linkyavichyus reported about it, transfers «ITAR - TASS».
In the communique of Eurocouncil it is reported that EU imposes a ban on import of goods from the Crimea since June 25, it is authorized to import only production which has received certificates from the Ukrainian authorities.
«Since June 25 goods from the Crimea and Sevastopol can't be imported to the European Union. In addition to it it will be forbidden to provide the financing and insurance services connected with import of such goods» ,—it is noted in the document.
Thus Eurocouncil reports that «goods from the Crimea and Sevastopol, received the certificate of origin from the Ukrainian authorities, can on - former be imported to EU».
The European Union since April 23 I cancelled or reduced the customs duties on the most part of industrial and agricultural output from Ukraine. The decision will work till November 1. To this term as expects the European Union, the agreement on association and free trade between Ukraine and EU which the parties are going to sign on the summit on June 27 in Brussels will come into force.
