Ukraine began works on creation of a 450-kilometer ditch on Dnestr site Ukrainian - the Moldavian border.

The ditch 3,5 meters wide and 2-3 meters in depth is created for blocking of possible movement of heavy military equipment and movement of smuggled goods.
«The first 5 km of a ditch on a site Belgorod - Dniester boundary group of border are already dug. Engineering works are conducted with attraction of specialized equipment of GSChS which works round the clock, moving ahead weekly on the average on 2,5 kilometers» , - he noted.
We will remind, earlier it was reported that along border of Ukraine with the Russian Federation it is equipped only hundred kilometers of anti-tank ditches, and frontier guards don't cope with prevention of receipt of heavy military equipment to Ukraine from Russia.
