About it UNIAN reported in management of capital construction of Ivano - the Frankovsky Executive Committee of the City Soviet of People's Deputies. Estimated cost of the project - 7 million hryvnias which provides a museum construction - about 650 square meters, establishment of a cross and Stepan Bandera's sculpture, and also territory streamlining.
The author of the project - Yaroslav Doroshenko, the sculptor - Nikolay Posikira who made a monument to Iván Franco in Ivano - Frankovsk. All complex is a monolithic design which will be revetted with marble or granite, and the sculpture will be made of bronze.
Interesting is that fact that the author of the project ended Lvov polytechnical where Stepan of Bander studied also.
Designers Anatoly Pushik and Tatyana Melnik, the architect Oksana Protsik helped to develop Doroshenko's project.
Earthwork is already fully complete, and since Monday will start filling of the bases under a monument and the museum. Works plan to finish till January 1, 2009, to 100 - to the anniversary since the birth of Stepan Bandera.
