34% of the Ukrainian charitable organizations and the companies cut down expenses on philanthropy. Such results poll "Showed charity in Ukraine in the conditions of crisis". Research I held the Ukrainian forum of philanthropists.
29% of the interrogated organizations reduced a salary and refused to pay professional development of employees. 47% reduced administrative expenses, renting cheaper offices, reducing number of business trips and saving expendables. 7,8% of the organizations admitted that cut down the staff.
The director of "The Center of Social Programs of RUSAL in Ukraine" fund Dmitry Murashko confirms that the fund had to suspend financing of a quarter of all programs, among which repair of the Nikolaev zoo and construction of nurseries and athletic fields.
Financing of grants for creation of sports sections was reduced by 50%, and means are redistributed on more effective programs of development of local community (volunteering, competitions). "Besides, we cut down for 50% administrative expenses, for 15-20% a salary to the employees and for 10% the staff of fund", - Dmitry Murashko reported.
