It became known of it on May 12 during survey of the territory in east part of the city (in the direction of Kherson) the chairman of the regional state administration Vadim Merikov and the Nikolaev mayor Yury Granaturov, reported in department of information support of the Nikolaev RSA.
- A problematic issue for the semi-million city, after all the cemetery near the village of Meshkovo - Pogorelovo is actually closed. Therefore the offer on allocation of the earth within the city was made. Today the good working modern draft convenient for people who I will visit a cemetery is necessary. The project of a land allocation at the next session has to be considered, the problem needs to be solved in the shortest possible time. We will recommend and help the city authority to put into operation a new cemetery, – Vadim Merikov told.
According to him problems with burial are and in the city of Pervomaisk where the question with a city cemetery is particularly acute.
In the message it is noted that the new cemetery will meet all European standards: the infrastructure is adjusted, a large number of green plantings, a traffic intersection is landed and even there will be a possibility of cremation, the city authorities plan to reformat to the robot of the Municipal enterprise «Nikolaev ritual service».
As reported in department information providing city council, the mayor of Nikolaev Yury Granaturov assured that the new cemetery will be modern, convenient, well-planned, planted trees and shrubs, with good drives. At production of documentation on allotment of land all remarks of asset holders of networks which are located here will be certainly considered.
- The cemetery in Meshkovo - Pogorelovo settled the resources and is already almost closed. Here the area more than 55 hectares, will be enough this territory for burials for 12-15 years. From the city budget 5 million hryvnias are already allocated for the organization of the territory of a cemetery, construction of a crematorium for those who wishes to cremate the died relatives will also be provided, - Yury Granaturov told.
We will remind, earlier it was reported that housing and communal services Department of the Nikolaev Executive Committee of the City Soviet of People's Deputies plan to spend in the current year more than 7,5 million hryvnias on construction of a new cemetery in the city, a fence round a cemetery in the Ship area and for shore protection works around a cemetery in the residential district Salt.
